Mass Growth Capital Corp. Welcomes New Senior Loan Officer

BOSTON – December 5, 2018 – The Commonwealth’s small business financial services provider Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) announces the hiring of John P. Santos III as Senior Loan Officer. Santos brings over 32 years of professional experiences and skills to MGCC’s operations.
As the new Senior Loan Officer, John will promote the mission of MGCC originating new business, supporting business owners, and empowering commercial lenders with solutions that enable them to provide access to capital for their clients.

Santos joins MGCC from Cobblestone Risk Management, LLC where he spent eight years as a risk and credit consultant to financial institutions. He comes with over 24 years of financial services experience, having worked for both large corporate and community banks in the Commonwealth.
John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University and also completed graduate business courses at Suffolk University, American Banking Institute of Commercial Lending Graduate School, and Harvard Graduate School of Design. Active in the community, John has been involved in a variety of local organizations including the New Bedford Economic Development Corporation and New Bedford Chamber of Commerce. Since 1991, he has been involved with the Brockton Boys & Girls Club serving as President and as a member of the Board of Directors. He presently serves on the Finance Committee. John is also on the Board of Trustees and Treasurer for The Reaching Back Foundation. John resides in Marion, MA with his wife Teresa.
